Vormetric mascot preparation and manufacture

Vormetric's mascot characters, Encrypto, Cypheria, and Havoc were created for 3D printing from existing 3D models that were made for rendering 2D images. Geometry had to be corrected and poses had to be adjusted to be manufacturerable on FFF 3D printers for fast and cheap manufacture.

Versions of the models were prepped to print in 1 or 2 hours, to print during conventions on a 3D printer on site and given away to participants. Then nearly 200 units were pre-prepared for the convention. Larger dual color desktop versions of the models were also created with card holders for additional impact and executive rewards.

A dual color version of the Cypheria model was also created for additional effect. The arms of the Cyperhia model were placed on the side to be easily printable at small sides, and printed separately and attached for the larger version.

The Havoc model was turned into a dual color iPhone 6 charging station.

Finally, a 1" tall havoc statuet was prepared and hydrodipped to create a full color statue.
